Whistleblower System (the Compliance Hotline)

The KAKEN Group has established a Whistleblower System (the Compliance Hotline) for reporting violations of applicable laws, regulation and internal rules as well as unethical conduct with respect to the KAKEN Group’s business activities.
KAKEN will not subject whistleblowers to any disadvantageous treatment for using the Compliance Hotline in good faith. KAKEN will use the whistleblower’s information only to the extent necessary for investigating the reported matter, and will not use it for any other purpose.

Who can use Compliance Hotline?

Stakeholders of the KAKEN Group, including officers, directors and employees, stock holders, business partners, residents living near the KAKEN Group’s various business locations, and former employees of the KAKEN Group.

Guidelines for Use

  1. When reporting to the Compliance Hotline, please provide as much as much specific information as possible in writing, including who, when, where, how, and what was done. Please note that reportable matters are limited to violations of applicable laws, regulation and internal rules, and unethical conduct with respect to the KAKEN Group’s business activities.
  2. If you have documents or evidence relating to the reported matter, we kindly request your cooperation in submitting them along with your report.
  3. We accept whistleblowing reports via mail. If you prefer to use telephone or email for subsequent communications, please include your phone number or e-mail in your initial report.
  4. We accept anonymous reports; however, this may make subsequent communication difficult and could limit our ability to conduct a thorough fact-finding investigation.
  5. We do not accept the use of the Compliance Hotline for false reports, defamation of the KAKEN Group or any third parties, business interference, or any other improper purposes.
